Our Guarantees

Eligible installations may include a written guarantee of up to five years. The provider, duration, coverage and exclusions will be confirmed in the written quotation before work begins. We do not advertise lifetime guarantees, guaranteed savings, guaranteed mould prevention, guaranteed rodent prevention or guaranteed EPC improvements — because those are not things any honest installer can promise.

What the guarantee sets out

• Guarantee provider — who stands behind the guarantee, whether that is The Insulation Company or an approved installation partner.
• Eligible services — which work is covered; not every service carries a guarantee.
• Materials covered — the insulation materials included, subject to the manufacturer’s own terms.
• Workmanship covered — the installation work itself.
• Duration and start date — how long the guarantee runs and when it begins.
• Exclusions — including roof leaks, pre-existing or ongoing moisture problems, condensation from ventilation or lifestyle factors, and pest activity.
• Maintenance requirements — anything you need to do to keep the guarantee valid.
• Transferability — whether the guarantee passes to a new owner.
• Claims process and required documents — how to make a claim and what you will need.

What a guarantee does not do

A guarantee on insulation work does not fix an underlying roof or moisture problem, and it is not a promise of a specific energy saving. If your loft has a leak, a ventilation fault or pest activity, those need addressing on their own terms — insulation alone will not resolve them, and we would rather say so up front.
